Custom Software
Software built around the way you work.
The problem
You have tried several software solutions, but your team still works around their limitations with files and manual processes. Or you are championing a product that does not yet exist. I help you define what really needs to be built, then lead its design and development through to launch.
This is for you if…
- Your business relies on files that have become difficult to maintain.
- Available software requires too many workarounds.
- You have a product idea and need to prioritise a useful first version.
What changes
- Information scattered and difficult to track.
- Processes adapted to an tool’s limitations.
- A project too broad to decide where to start.
- A journey designed around priority use cases.
- Information and rules consolidated in a suitable tool.
- A concrete scope, delivered and progressively enhanced.
How it runs
- 01
Define the product scope
We identify users, their needs, and the constraints. We separate the essentials from future developments.
- 02
Design the user journeys
I define the functionality and key screens with you before starting development.
- 03
Build in stages
The software takes shape in increments that you can review. Feedback helps validate use cases and adjust priorities.
- 04
Deliver and support
I prepare the production launch, onboarding, and the elements needed for monitoring. Maintenance arrangements are defined together.
The questions I get asked
Do we necessarily need to create custom software?
No. The scoping phase also helps determine whether an existing tool or integration is sufficient. Custom development is justified when your needs require it.
Who will be my point of contact?
You communicate directly with me. I handle the scoping, design, and direction of the development, and I am then accountable for the agreed result.
Who owns the software?
The rights to the code, deliverables, and access credentials are specified in the contract. Third-party components remain subject to their own licenses.
Can we start with a small version?
Yes. We can define an initial version focused on a priority use case, then decide on further developments based on feedback.
Does this match your situation?
Twenty minutes are enough to tell whether this is the right answer to your need.
